National Trade Facilitation Report of the Republic of Kazakhstan POLICY BRIEF
The report provides an overview of the measures taken by the Government of Kazakhstan aimed at trade facilitation in the years following the country’s accession to the WTO in 2015. It examines the current state of the institution of sustainable trade, institutional developments in the field of trade facilitation, including the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement. The report also analyzes the country’s position in global supply chains and assesses progress and challenges in developing cross-border paperless trade. The report was prepared by the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and QazTrade JSC in 2023.
